Bangla-first grocery storefront + in-store POS for a rural cooperative supermarket (Cumilla).

3 integrated surfaces, 2 stacks, vendor-safe Laravel module architecture, built for rural 3G (subset Bangla fonts ~100KB).

Bodhua Bazar — E-commerce + POS project preview
What it is
A Bangla-first grocery storefront and an in-store POS for the same rural cooperative supermarket, sharing one product and stock model.
The wallet
Orders pay cashback into a member wallet; the wallet balance counts toward a cooperative share. That links shopping to membership, which a normal e-commerce build has no reason to do.
Built for the connection, not the demo
Rural 3G is the target, so the Bangla font subset ships at roughly 100KB and screens are designed mobile-first rather than scaled down from desktop.
Design scope
49 mobile screens across onboarding, catalogue, cart, orders, wallet and support.
Role
Architecture and lead developer, leading two senior developers.
Status
In development. The UI gallery below is public and browsable.
Order tracking, order history and cancellation screens
Order tracking down to the rider’s name and number, history split by state, and a cancellation flow that asks why — the reason list feeds back into operations rather than just closing the order.
Wallet statement, membership tiers and withdrawal screens
The wallet is the part a normal grocery app does not have: every order pays cashback into savings, savings count toward a membership tier, and the tier changes the discount. Withdrawals settle to bKash or a bank account.
Notifications, refer and earn, and product review screens
Retention surfaces: notifications, a referral that credits both sides, and reviews from verified buyers with a rating histogram.
Bodhua Bazar design system: Jute Green palette, Bangla and Latin type scale, spacing and principles
The system underneath: Jute Green #0B7A4A permitted only for CTAs and trust signals, turmeric reserved for savings and rewards, canvas warm cream rather than pure white, and amounts written ৳1,250 — never BDT 1250. Rules written down so the storefront and the POS cannot drift apart.
