Cooperative Member System project preview
What it is
A member portal for a registered cooperative: savings, share certificates, dividends and withdrawals, kept separate from the shop that feeds it.
The legal constraint
Flows follow the Bangladesh Cooperative Societies Act 2001 — share classes, dividend cycle and samiti hierarchy are modelled because the law requires them, not because they were convenient.
Two kinds of withdrawal
Spending at a partner outlet on a member discount is not the same act as taking cash out, so the interface never merges them. Cash withdrawal shows the provider fee before confirmation.
Multi-tenant from day one
More than one samiti can run on the same deployment without a fork, which is the difference between one client and a product.
Design scope
23 screens across auth, member core, shares, wallet, dividends and security.
Role
Architecture and business logic.
Status
In development. The UI gallery below is public and browsable.
Cooperative member portal: share portfolio, certificate detail and share purchase
Shares as the member sees them: a portfolio with year-to-date yield, a certificate carrying holder, samiti, purchase date, three-year hold and an audit ID, and a purchase that shows the savings balance before and after.
Statement, savings breakdown and deposit screens from the cooperative portal
Where the money came from: a filterable statement, a breakdown splitting subscription, dividend, refund, bonus and transfers, and deposits from bKash, Nagad or a bank account.
Member benefit purchase, cash withdrawal and withdrawal history screens
Withdrawal is two different things and the UI keeps them apart: spending at a partner outlet at a member discount, and taking cash out with the provider fee shown before confirmation. History records approved, completed, pending and rejected alike.
Cooperative portal design system: Lavender Plum palette, typography, spacing, status pills and certificate card
A deliberately different system from the storefront: Lavender Plum for institutional credibility rather than consumer retail, Space Mono for every amount so decimals align, and flows shaped by the Bangladesh Cooperative Act 2001 — share classes, dividend cycle, samiti hierarchy.
